  2. Agree with LeParc, this is very informative post and really not easy to write. Currently I am staying at my condo in http://www.vistalandinternational.com/, for me it is perfect!

  3. We attempted to purchase a unit in September 2016. One week before closing, the down payment went from 25 to 40 percent. We were rela clear that this was an investment that we would occupy occasionally until we retire. Our realtor pushed real hard for us to purchase the Palms unit. Really talked down our preferred choice of Signature at MGM. We were later informed that Realtor's commission at the palms was higher than MGM. be careful when buying in LV.

  4. Hi Stephen - Sorry you had such a bad experience. It is a realtor's duty to disclose his or her compensation to you. And an agent should not "push" a client into a decision, but rather present all the stats and facts. If you were planning on financing your purchase and expect the unit to cash flow - that could be problematic as well , after the hotel-condo rental program splits. I expect a residential condo or townhome, would have been a better option. Hotel condos are transient rentals and not ideal for retirement purposes. Happy New Year!
